"Mighty Rushing Wind"
Acts 2
Acts 2
Coming of the Holy Spirit
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Romans 8
Free from Indwelling Sin. A New Law to live by begins in Acts 2; Our obligation is only to the Spirit, measured by a walk in the life of Christ. Not by works, but by a sufficient Grace. "Acts of the Holy Spirit!"
Heirs with Christ Romans 8:12
So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh--
for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.…
"The Law Of The Spirit!"
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally(fleshly) minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal(fleshly) mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who(walk) in the flesh cannot please God.
