Psalm 131

 

Simple Trust in the Lord

"QUIETED MYSELF FROM HIGH AND GREAT MATTERS"

 Lord, my heart is not haughty,
Nor my eyes lofty.

Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too profound for me.

 

 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,

Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

 

Only time spent with Jesus can bring your soul in such a place as this;...there remains a rest for the people of God.  "If my My people will repent and turn from their wicket ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land.
