Hebrews 6:9-11
Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized.
Dear Precious believer; Are you a worker in the field of the Lord? Do you weep over His Bride, who at times turn to other lovers? Have you grow weary in calling back, and praying for those who are His, but embrace the creature, rather then their creator? Have you grow weary in well doing?
If this is you this morning, then rejoice, because your King will never forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped His people! Let this encounter between Jesus and Peter, be your deep encouragement this morning;
He said to him the third time, Simon, son of John, do you love Me [with a deep, instinctive, personal affection for Me, as for a close friend]? Peter was grieved (was saddened and hurt) that He should ask him the third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You [that I have a deep, instinctive, personal affection for You, as for a close friend]. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep.
