"GOD THE RECORDER"

Nehemiah 3

 Then Eliashib the high priest and the other priests started to rebuild at the Sheep Gate.

The Fish Gate was built by the sons of Hassenaah.

The Old City Gate[a] was repaired by Joiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah.

 The Valley Gate was repaired by the people from Zanoah, led by Hanun.

The Dung Gate was repaired by Malkijah son of Recab, the leader of the Beth-hakkerem district. He rebuilt it, set up its doors, and installed its bolts and bars.

The Fountain Gate was repaired by Shallum[e] son of Col-hozeh, the leader of the Mizpah district. He rebuilt it, roofed it, set up its doors, and installed its bolts and bars.

Above the Horse Gate, the priests repaired the wall. Each one repaired the section immediately across from his own house.

29 Next Zadok son of Immer also rebuilt the wall across from his own house, and beyond him was Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, the gatekeeper of the East Gate. 30

 Next Hananiah son of Shelemiah and Hanun, the sixth son of Zalaph, repaired another section, while Meshullam son of Berekiah rebuilt the wall across from where he lived. 31 Malkijah, one of the goldsmiths, repaired the wall as far as the housing for the Temple servants and merchants, across from the Inspection Gate.

Then he continued as far as the upper room at the corner. 32 The other goldsmiths and merchants repaired the wall from that corner to the Sheep Gate.

Psalm 139

You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

IN HEAVEN A NEW NAME GIVEN:

Revelation 2:17
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

Isaiah 43:1 But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. "I have called you by name, you are mine.

DEAR PRECIOUS BELIEVER; THIS MORNING DO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT GOD YOUR FATHER KNOWS YOUR NAME. HIS EYES ARE UPON YOU. WHEN YOU RISE, AND WHEN YOU ARE LYING DOWN. HE EVEN KNOWS YOUR THOUGHTS, THOSE THOUGHTS THAT DRAW YOU CLOSER TO HIM, AND THOSE THAT HAVE BROUGHT YOU AFAR OFF.

HE HEMS YOU IN WITH HIS LOVE, THAT SAME LOVE THAT CREATED YOUR INNER MOST BEING, AND KNITTED YOU IN YOUR MOTHER'S WOMB. YOU ARE NOT HIDDEN FROM HIM. MAY YOU SAY TO HIM THIS MORNING;

"Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain".

LIKE NEHEMIAH'S GATEKEEPERS HE HAS CALLED YOU TO A SPECIFIC CAUSE, A SPECIAL GATE DESIGNED FOR YOU ALONE. YOUR DAYS ARE ORDAINED AND WRITTEN IN HIS BOOK OF LOVE, BEFORE ONE OF THEM CAME TO BE.

MAY YOU HEAR HIS VOICE THIS MORNING SHOUT OUT TO YOU;

 "I have called you by name; you are mine"!!!!!!!!!!

One a Majority!

One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you. (Joshua 23:10)

Why count heads? One man with God is a majority though there be a thousand on the other side. Sometimes our helpers may be too many for God to work with them, as was the case with Gideon, who could do nothing till he had increased his forces by thinning out their numbers. But the Lord's hosts are never too few. When God would found a nation, He called Abram alone and blessed him. When He would vanquish proud Pharaoh, He used no armies, but only Moses and Aaron. The "one-man ministry," as certain wise men call it, has been far more used of the Lord than trained bands with their officers. Did all the Israelites together slay so many as Samson alone? Saul and his hosts slew their thousands but David his ten thousands. The Lord can give the enemy long odds and yet vanquish him. If we have faith, we have God with us, and what are multitudes of men? One shepherd's dog can drive before him a flock of sheep. If the Lord sent thee, O my brother, His strength will accomplish His divine purpose. Wherefore, rely on the promise, and be very courageous.

LORD; ONLY YOU MY PRECIOUS KING KNEW YOUR SERVANT NEEDED TO HEAR THIS WORD THIS EARLY MORNING. I REQUEST THAN YOU WOULD TOUCH MY BROTHERS WHO ALSO FEEL ALONE, EXCEPT FOR YOU AND THE "ONE-MAN MINISTRY" YOU HAVE GIVEN THEM. MAY WE LIKE DAVID BRING INTO YOUR KINGDOM TEN THOUSAND!  WEEPING AND BROKEN, I MAKE THIS HUMBLE REQUEST. LET IT ASCEND INTO YOUR NOSTRILS. LOOK NOW MY KING, IT IS ME AND THE FEW YOU HAVE GIVEN ME, PURSUING "YOU". HELP US TO HOLD OUR GATES.

"THEY SET THEIR SEAL!"

"THE PRAYER OF EZRA"

Dear brothers; When the Lord brings to you great victories, pause to build an altar. Pray and proclaim His Word, let the Holy Scriptures pierce your soul until you know beyond doubt, that apart from Him, you can do nothing. Brothers,.. the man in the mirror has been purchased with the precious blood of the only begotten Son of God. If you this day have a crown of self, cast it. Lay it upon His nailed pierced feet. "Build an Altar of Prayer."   "Set your seal!" Amen.

Nehemiah 9

6 [And Ezra said], You are the Lord, You alone; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and You preserve them all, and the hosts of heaven worship You.

7 You are the Lord, the God Who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldees and gave him the name Abraham.

8 You found his heart faithful before You, and You made the covenant with him to give his descendants the land of the Canaanite, Hittite, Amorite, Perizzite, Jebusite, and Girgashite. And You have fulfilled Your promise, for You are just and righteous.

9 You saw our fathers’ affliction in Egypt, and You heard their cry at the Red Sea.

10 You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants and all the people of his land, for You knew that they dealt insolently against the Israelites. And You got for Yourself a name, as it is today.

11 You divided the sea before them, so that they went through its midst on dry land; their persecutors You threw into the depths, as a stone into mighty waters.

12 Moreover, by a pillar of cloud You led them by day, and by a pillar of fire by night to light the way they should go.

13 You came down also upon Mount Sinai and spoke with them from Heaven and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments.

14 And You made known to them Your holy Sabbath and gave them commandments, statutes, and a law through Moses Your servant.

15 You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water for them out of the rock for their thirst; and You told them to go in and possess the land You had sworn to give them.

16 But they and our fathers acted presumptuously and stiffened their necks, and did not heed Your commandments.

17 They refused to obey, nor were they mindful of Your wonders and miracles which You did among them; but they stiffened their necks and in their rebellion appointed a captain, that they might return to their bondage [in Egypt]. But You are a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great steadfast love; and You did not forsake them.

18 Even when they had made for themselves a molten calf and said, This is your god, who brought you out of Egypt, and had committed great and contemptible blasphemies,

19 You in Your great mercy forsook them not in the wilderness; the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day to lead them in the way, nor the pillar of fire by night to light the way they should go.

20 You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, and withheld not Your manna from them, and gave water for their thirst.

21 Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out, and their feet did not swell.

22 Also You gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner. So they possessed the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and the land of Og king of Bashan.

23 Their children You also multiplied as the stars of heaven and brought them into the land which You told their fathers they should go in and possess.

24 So the descendants went in and possessed the land; and You subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hands, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.

25 And they captured fortified cities and a rich land and took possession of houses full of all good things, cisterns hewn out, vineyards, olive orchards, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and became fat and delighted themselves in Your great goodness.

26 Yet they were disobedient and rebelled against You and cast Your law behind their back and killed Your prophets who accused and warned them to turn to You again; and they committed great and contemptible blasphemies.

27 Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies, who distressed them. In the time of their suffering when they cried to You, You heard them from heaven, and according to Your abundant mercy You gave them deliverers, who saved them from their enemies.

28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before You; therefore You left them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to You, You heard them from heaven, and many times You delivered them according to Your mercies,

29 And reproved and warned them, that You might bring them again to Your law. Yet they acted presumptuously and did not heed Your commandments, but sinned against Your ordinances, which by keeping, a man shall live. And they turned a stubborn shoulder, stiffened their neck, and would not listen.

30 Yet You bore with them many years more and reproved and warned them by Your Spirit through Your prophets; still they would not listen. Therefore You gave them into the power of the peoples of the lands.

31 Yet in Your great mercies You did not utterly consume them or forsake them, for You are a gracious and merciful God.

32 Now therefore, our God, the great, mighty, and terrible God, Who keeps covenant and mercy and loving-kindness, let not all the trouble and hardship seem little to You—the hardship that has come upon us, our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and on all Your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria to this day.

33 However, You are just in all that has come upon us; for You have dealt faithfully, but we have done wickedly;

34 Our kings, our princes, our priests, and our fathers have not kept Your law or hearkened to Your commandments and Your warnings and reproofs which You gave them.

35 They did not serve You in their kingdom, and in Your great goodness that You gave them and in the large and rich land You set before them, nor did they turn from their wicked works.

36 Behold, we are slaves this day, and as for the land that You gave to our fathers to eat the fruit and the good of it, behold, we are slaves in it.

37 And its rich yield goes to the kings whom You have set over us because of our sins; they have power also over our bodies and over our livestock at their pleasure. And we are in great distress.

38 Because of all this, we make a firm and sure written covenant, and our princes, Levites, and priests set their seal to it.

"THE PERFUMERS"

Anointing OIL

Exodus 30

22 Then the Lord said to Moses, 23 “Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of fragrant calamus, 24 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin of olive oil. 25 Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. 26 Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law, 27 the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense, 28 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand. 29 You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy.

30 “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests. 31 Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come. 32 Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred. 33 Whoever makes perfume like it and puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from their people.’

Nehemiah 3:8

HANANIAH, AND HANANI

8 Next to them repaired Uzziel son of Harhaiah, one of the goldsmiths. Next to him repaired Hananiah, one of the perfumers, and they abandoned [fortification of] Jerusalem as far as the Broad Wall [omitting that part of the ancient city and reducing the area].

Nehemiah 7

 Now when the wall was built and I had set up the doors, and the gatekeepers, singers, and Levites had been appointed,
2 I gave my brother Hanani, with Hananiah the ruler of the castle, charge over Jerusalem, for Hananiah was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many.

Amazing God! After all the trials, the threats of the Sanballat enemies, the favor of the King, the letter to  Asaph, keeper of the King's forest,governers and captains of the King and horsemen.(Neh.2 and 7).  Nehemiah states; "For the good hand of my God was upon me." Hallelujah!

Mission complete,walls are finished, each appointed person in position,..gatekeepers, the musicians and Levites. All made ready for a larger story then their own, now they are about to enter the revelation of the statement; "I WILL GATHER THEM FROM THERE AND WILL BRING THEM TO THE PLACE IN WHICH I HAVE CHOSEN TO SET MY NAME Praise His Holy Name!!!

Now comes "Ezra."

All the people came together as one in the square before the Water Gate.(living water). They told Ezra the teacher of the Law to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded for Israel.
2 So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand. 3 He read it aloud from daybreak till noon as he faced the square before the Water Gate(living water) in the presence of the men, women and others who could understand. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.

JOHN 4 "IF YOU KNEW THE GIFT OF GOD."
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])

10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

4 Ezra the teacher of the Law stood on a high wooden platform built for the occasion. Beside him on his right stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah and Maaseiah; and on his left were Pedaiah, Mishael, Malkijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah and Meshullam.(perfumers)

5 Ezra opened the book. All the people could see him because he was standing above them; and as he opened it, the people all stood up. 6 Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.

7 The Levites—Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan and Pelaiah—instructed the people in the Law while the people were standing there. 8 They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people understood what was being read.(priest)

9 Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law.

10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”(The gospel)

Brothers; After miraculous personal direction of the Holy Spirit, Nehemiah is moved by the same God, who used his sad countenance before a king, to bring these events to pass. Only to have him appoint a "perfumer," over all of Jerusalem!  This morning my brothers I declare to you that God's plans are always  awesome, and His thoughts are not out thoughts, nor His way out way. They higher then the heavens are from the earth. The first shall be last, and the last shall be first in His Kingdom!!!

Hananiah the ruler of the castle, given charge over Jerusalem, for Hananiah was a more faithful and God-fearing man than many. (2 Tim 2)  "A PERFUMER!"

2 Corinthians 2

"WE ARE PERFUMERS!"

14 But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere,

15 For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ [which exhales] unto God, [discernible alike] among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:

16 To the latter it is an aroma [wafted] from death to death [a fatal odor, the smell of doom]; to the former it is an aroma from life to life [a vital fragrance, living and fresh]. And who is qualified (fit and sufficient) for these things? [Who is able for such a ministry? We?]

17 For we are not, like so many, [like hucksters making a trade of] peddling God’s Word [shortchanging and adulterating the divine message]; but like [men] of sincerity and the purest motive, as [commissioned and sent] by God, we speak [His message] in Christ (the Messiah), in the [very] sight and presence of God

BOW BEFORE HIM THIS EARLY MORNING, HE IS AWESOME! HE KNOWS THE END FROM THE BEGINNING!!! IT IS HIS STORY, NOT OURS...AMEN!

 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
1 PETER 2:9

"HE WILL NOT FORGET"

Hebrews 6:9-11

 Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation.

 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized.

Dear Precious believer; Are you a worker in the field of the Lord?  Do you weep over His Bride, who at times  turn to other lovers? Have you grow weary in calling back, and praying for those who are His, but embrace the creature, rather then their creator? Have you grow weary in well doing?

If this is you this morning, then rejoice, because your King will never forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped His people! Let this encounter between Jesus and Peter, be your deep encouragement this morning;

He said to him the third time, Simon, son of John, do you love Me [with a deep, instinctive, personal affection for Me, as for a close friend]? Peter was grieved (was saddened and hurt) that He should ask him the third time, Do you love Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You [that I have a deep, instinctive, personal affection for You, as for a close friend]. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep.

"TREES OF THE FIELDS"

Isaiah 55:12

For you shall go out [from the spiritual exile caused by sin and evil into the homeland] with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Isaiah 55

55 Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing].

2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy].

3 Incline your ear [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David.

4 Behold, I have appointed him (Him) [David, as a representative of the Messiah, or the Messiah Himself] to be a witness [one (One) who shall testify of salvation] to the nations, a prince (Prince) and commander (Commander) to the peoples.

5 Behold, you [a][Israel] shall call nations that you know not, and nations that do not know you shall run to you because of the Lord your God, and of the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you.

6 Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon.

8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12 For you shall go out [from the spiritual exile caused by sin and evil into the homeland] with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name of renown, for an everlasting sign [of jubilant exaltation] and memorial [to His praise], which shall not be cut off

Dear precious believer; Who are these trees of the field? May this writer suggest they are those who through trials by fire learned first to "wait and  listen", they have found the livivg waters of life in Jesus and no other fountain satisfies.

They have learned to hearken diligently to God,  appointed by God Himself to testify of His great salvation. Commanders of the people for the glory of their King.

Living waters come from these commanders, and nations shall run to them, as they proclaim the King's message to the people. "Seek Him while He may be found!" He will have mercy and show love to all who come, in order to draw deeply out from these living waters. They who come will say: "Surely the Lord Himself is in this place, and with these Commanders".

These Commanders through fierce and terrible battles, fix their hearts and minds on this all consuming truth;

8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.

 My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

They learn from nature itself the demonstration of what rain and snow accomplish on the earth, and conclude, that the same God who commands the wind, and rain.  Know,
So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void .

For these trees of the field, thorns turn into cypress, briar into myrtle!!!!!

These trees of the field,"Hearken diligently to Me."

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
